Artist Eligibility
Artle is a guessing game based on recognition of Australian artists. The following criteria are provided as a guide for what qualifies as 'recognisable', meaning a body of work that a player may reasonably be expected to have seen, or have the opportunity to become familiar with.
Artists may be featured if they meet one or more of the following:
- Work held in a permanent collection that is publically accessible
- Work that has been shown publicly in an exhibition (solo or group)
- A recognisable artistic style, through colour, subject, motifs, composition, or similar visual elements.
- A sufficient body of publicly available work that can be found and explored online or through public sources.
Artists who meet multiple criteria are more likely to be selected.
Emerging artists are welcome to apply. Works may be placed in a 'Discover' or 'Local Artist' game mode, depending on overall recognisability and publically available material.
